No sound/ Game Crashing on Exit after last patch (DX 11)

First:

my game had no sound when launching. Even re-installing did not work. I fixed the sound issues by deleting my d9d11.dll and downloading/installing a new one my friend sent to me from their ffxiv folder. my game was still crashing on exit at this point.

Second:

my game goes to a black screen and freezes / hangs after clicking "exit game" or closing the game. etc. I have found no fix for this... and its terribly annoying because it freezes my desktop.

I have 16 gb RAM, nvidia 1080 gtx, i7 intel cpu.

This issue only started happening after the very last patch where embody sound was introduced.

edit: yes i have tried to verify integrity of game files / redownload / reinstall etc. nothing has fixed.

Yes to all three of those, the game is the only app running, i have headphones, and the game is on my c drive.

This sounds like a cpu or gpu undervoltage situation, in my experience its usually the cpu since gpu's tend to favor negotiating more VID than necessary.

• Leave it running in the Background

• Run the game and reproduce this hard lock (the log will record right up until the freeze happens)

The LOG FILE that is created, , upload it to GoogleDrive.
• Do not put it in a PRIVATE section.
• Post the Shareable link

You have a very sparse processes list btw, makes diagnosing so much easier when 100 applications aren't having to be ruled out.
