Forum registration was a real nuisance feedback

I know not everything can be responsive and fluid. However I really had a hard time getting into the forums and I would now be biased onto why developer would have said they are unaware of some feedback because it wasnt in the forums... Because getting in here is a chore :(

Here is why;

This may be a bug: My layout was in french language.

The site logging me in was very long, felt like 15sec for any clicks id do.

Making a username was a bit confusing; No spaces allowed, however nothing told me I could not use a space, so I went out of my way to see if I logged in wrongly.

I was confused about selecting my Main character.
Why can I highlight a character from the list? What does it do? The site had to reload about 15 sec for about 5min until i just clicked around randomly until i found out about the grey star... I know, not the brightest moment for me to not notice the star... But yeah.

Suggestion:
Tell me to click on the star to select my main character.
Rather than telling me my username is taken, tell me spaces and other symbols are not allowed.
