The third savage fight of this tier is so immersive it overheats my PS4

Halfway through Firestorms of Asphodelos, without fail, my PS4 will overheat, flash red, and take me out of the game for 5 seconds to give me an overheating warning. If I don't leave the fight within a minute, it'll crash.

I know my PS4 is desperately in need of a cleaning, but FFXIV has never come close to causing an overheat before. I tried reducing draw quality to normal because that's literally the only relevant graphic setting, and it didn't help. Guess I'm not clearing this fight before weekly reset like I planned, until I can buy some screws to open my guy up.

I know the arena is hot but come on.

I'd pop open that thing and check all the fans. Blow it out, and maybe run a small box fan over it for that fight if it continues.

edit: I'd still get that fan blowing over it till you can get it open
