EW Alisaie Dialogue

In the scene after Elpis. When G'raha fights off the beast, Alisaie says "You mustn't let our sword in the darkness fight alone!"

During some streams I've watched, however, she says "You mustn't let Eorzea's hero fight alone!"

Just wondering if anyone knows what triggers the dialogue switch? Is it from clearing certain raids or content?

That would make sense. It's been so long since I've done them that I don't remember if there was a reference to a sword in the darkness during them.

I do love little touches like that, though. Things you wouldn't even notice if you didn't interact with the community. Guess it was one of the reasons Ichikawa recommended doing Coils before EW.

Anyway the Sword in the Darkness title is directly referencing Alisae's title for you from Binding Coil.
