Dragoon loses their own dragon sight buff if their tethered partner dies.

So I’ve noticed recently while doing the level 90 ex trials, whenever I cast my dragon sight on a buddy, should they die, my own Right eye 10% buff dies with them… is this intentional? As to make it a punishment should you choose to tether a partner and they die? Or bug, cuz I’m not hasty to pass my buff to anyone anymore because I chance losing it myself. Apologies if this has been already discussed before.

It's always been like this.

They're not there for you to be tethered to, so the effect ends, same with if you give it to someone then they move too far out of range.

Ok, so I did some testing with a blu with self destruct, and that sucks, even if you move beyond the 12 yalms and break tether, if they die at any moment you just lose the buff

Thank you for letting me know, I’ll just live on with knowing I’ll have to cope if my buddy dies

IMO they should just use the same Dance Partner/Kardia System for Dragon Sight instead that awful proximity/tether system
