Samurai AOE/Dps feels soo bad...

Why is SAM AOE such a small silly radius circle? at least dragoon get's like a 8-12 yard line to jab through entire packs of enemy's but sams have to not only try and stand in the very centre of all the mobs, even then the range is tiny but you have to target a damn enemy for the positional Goken. It feels dreadful, clunky and not fun to use, especially with the 1st combo post 80 now also being a circle.

Also why is my sam in levelling dungeons getting out dpsed by dragoons, bards, dancers, machinists etc? the potency nerf to sam slapped us in the face i feel and everyone else even tanks can do equal aoe dmg to us and we have 0 support still.

Honestly I don't see the point of cone-shaped and small AoE attacks, it just tedious. Make them all hit in big areas across the board and everyone happy.

AoE feels great in dungeons, though? Double Meikyo charges, 4 Gokens, the Namikiris, Shoha II woven in... and when those run out, you have enough Kenki to weave quite a few Kyutens in there.

I'd you're just using you're 1-2-3 aoe combo, you're doing it wrong.

SAM is absolutely insane at AOE now

Yaaaa I'm not really having any issue's with SAM AoE this expansion. Their AoE DPS is pretty amazing right now.

SAMs AOE got really good QoL this expansion, so did all the other dps. The first part of the aoe combo not being a target feels great and the rest of skills as well. And it's not like mobs are too far away from each other when they are all hitting the tank.

If you want some advice you usually target someone and position yourself in order to hit as many targets you can with cone and line AOEs.

the only thing bothering me with the AoE of the sam is the fact that tenka goken is still a cone that recquire a target for be launched. when i feel it will be either better to make it's a radius like the other aoE or simply remove the target needed for launch it.

This and AOE should be 8-10 yards not a Poxy 5. I can spray farther.

5yalms is more than enough.....I can't really recall a time where the crowd of mobs wasn't close enough for my aoe to not hit any of them.

It really is only problem if there's a bunch of large mobs spread out a bit (or if there's a caster type). But 99% of the time, it isn't an issue.
