Is anyone else a bit disappointed by the almost complete mounts that aren't mounts?

Tiny spoilers for the Nier raids and the new treasure dungeon if you've not done those yet I guess.

I keep seeing things that are basically almost complete mounts but they're just not mounts implemented in the game: The flying disc from the old treasure dungeon, the pod from the Nier raids, and now the wings from the new treasure dungeon. They have a model (I think it's the same as the new wing fashion accessory) and an animation while you're flying (the wings flap) it feel like the only thing that's missing is the item in game to unlock them as a mount...

Are you saying there are wearable wings that flap as you fly around?

No, when you go from area to area in the new treasure dungeon there are but you can't unlock them as an actual mount. https://i.imgur.com/mRQLqeJ.jpg

That's my point, they're all but a wings mount but it's not in the game as an item :(

That has Mogstation written all over it. There will be so many people with them City Planners will have to start erecting power lines for all the people to sit on.

I thought that might be the case but other similar "mounts" never did - the pod or the flying disc.

Not even lying I would kick a puppy at a baby to get those wings as a mount
