Hi everyone! I’m not sure if someone has asked this already (tried looking it up and found nothing) but I have a question. My roommate has an active account on his PC and recently got a PS5. I know that you would need to purchase FFXIV license for the PS5, however only Endwalker shows up when we search for it. I’m assuming it’s because of the congestion issue, but is there a way around it? We’re literally just trying to switch his account from PC to PS5. Thanks in advance for any help!
In order to switch from PC to PS5, you will need to buy a normal FFXIV license. Since the sales are currently stopped for the starter and complete version, you are not able to switch or add a PS5 license to the existing PC account. You have to wait until the sales are not stopped anymore. There is no workaround for this.
You can try to go to electronic markets in order to find a physical version of the game. I have seen some electronic stores which are still selling PS4 physical versions of the game, but they are very rare and limited at the moment.
