Dear warriors, sincerely healers

Please stop healing other people in dungeons. Extremes sure! Savage, lovely! I don’t mind that you can keep yourself healed, that’s to be expected from warriors at this point. But please please let healers heal the group. The only thing we have that keeps us from falling asleep are those lovely DPS who get hit by mechanics.. I get that’s it’s free but look, at least you have your dps rotation to keep you occupied. We healers literally spam one single button. Let us have something else to do. Please, please, please stop healing the party.

Nah I appreciate this. As both a healer and as that DPS that suffers because some healers can’t heal their way out of a wet paper bag. I’m always appreciative of a WAR that throws Nascent on me or anyone else.

Please, Warriors, stop using every tool in your kit and be bad players so that I can feel better as a healer when you give me full uptime to DPS and I refuse to.

Whoah wait what? I never said anything about refusing to DPS. Im not one of those healers haha, you must have misunderstood my post. By wanting to heal I mean wanting to use my ogcds. I only go to GCD heals if I’m out of options

Just wanted to make a lighthearted post about the current green Warrior meme, calm down…

Warriors can heal the party better then most healers right now. I see no reason for them to stop. Especially if White Mages can show you what being a Glare Mage is all about.

Well I can definitely heal my way out of a wet paper bag. I’m a decent healer, if I have things to heal…and I frequently find myself without ppl to heal thanks to lightspeed reaction time warrior players, or god forbid a clemency spammer XD don’t see many of those anymore though thank goodness

I used to enjoy running later expac 4 man dungeons just for the fun of it because I didn’t have to compete with a co-healer in trials/normal modes to heal stuff. Yes I know a good healer understands you don’t “compete” with your cohealer, but work together, and that’s definitely how it works in Savages but not for anything else. Even extremes can be solo healed nowadays.

Bingo!! I think I may give solo healing extremes a go. Might make me uncomfortably nervous but that would pose a good healing challenge I think!

Current extremes don’t even need a healer, tbh.

Well that’s disappointing. Even with a regular comp that isn’t designed for not having a healer? What about Styx or the bleed attack? Or the adds phase during ex 1

Comps I’ve seen that handle these usually have DNC and RPR in them. Between Curing Waltz, the new Improv regen, and doing mitigation such as Shield Samba combined with a tank mitigation, the bleed barely tickles. RPR bring Arcane Crest, which is basically Whispering Dawn. WAR is brought for SiO’s regen because why not also throw that in there for extra trivialization.

My static with our standard comp do a tank mitigation, Samba, and I’ll use Kerachole. We barely have to do much healing between the AOE mitigation handling the bleed ticks, and the HoT from Kerachole doing its job. When my co-healer went WHM, she asked me not to even put Kerachole there and instead let Lilybell handle it, but the bleed tickled otherwise.

For the 89 EX, you should be killing her before you ever reach her stack mechanic if you are running 2 tanks and 6 DPS. So it won’t be an issue in her fight.
