Grand Company Ranks: Are they being ignored for the foreseeable future?

Seems kind of silly for the ranking system to stop abruptly as of Stormblood. Was hoping to see some advancement in ShB, never happened. Maybe they'll give us another couple of ranks? Or has the entire system been abandoned?

There aren't enough "things" involved in the grand company system to really justify additional ranks. Until they added the material crate thingies here in Endwalker, there wasn't even any good reason to advance to the captain rank to begin with.

Maybe a material crate 5.0 and 6.0 will later justify grand company expansion but atm grand companies are kinda pointless for the most part.

I hope they're done forever. I hated my squadron.

I hope they expand on the GC stuff and actually add stuff we can do with our FC. We really need more things we can do with our FC as a group like doing specific GC dungeons and maybe add a storyline to GC.

I hope they do expand, there's some cool stuff they could do, as you rise up the ranks you could be commanding a grand company outpost (in some area of the grand company's region you haven't been to). you could slowly expand the outpost and command your troops to do various things, not sure exactly how it would work, I'm not a game designer, but I do hope we some some new functionality added to the grand companies in the future. I do think they're going to have to come up with something new to continue grand companies though, the squadron system. is kinda obsolete at this point.

they don't want ranking up to be the same method every time and will update GC and include more ranks when they come up with something more unique

I hope they revisit some old stuff. They can make Squadrons closer to trusts. It'll be cool if your retainers could do dungeons with you, too.

I got the exercise emotes and never touched it again.

At least move the Squadron to Trust section since you can glamour your Scion once you reach the level just like your squadron npc at 50.

At least I appreciate the material container, I missed many things fro Stormblood so it is nice way of spending seals.

I already collected 5 male Roegadyns yet I still can't make them wear Shisui gear?? This is blasphemy!
