Dungeons at lvl 80+ give half a level worth of experience.
Leveling Roulette gives 30-36% of a level while syncing you down and making you lose most of your abilities.
Simple math shows that leveling roulette is pointless if you're level 80+

I don't do any of the roulettes for the experience anymore. I do them to break up the monotony of running the same dungeons 5 billion times. There's so much content in this game that's pretty much always relevant because of the roulettes and I love it.
I'm gonna pretend the OP didn't just figure this out after all those years played.
You could end up with an 80+ dungeon in the roulette and get both rewards.
It's still fun to do the leveling roulettes. It gives me pleasure to heal a group of sprouts in white gear with half of my sage kit missing (no sarcasm intended, it is fun).
And after you hit 90... the XP is moot anyway.
I think we should talk about Main Scenario Roulette's being the same 2 instead. I consider it psychological abuse.
Yeah but what if you got an endwalker dungeon on your leveling roulette? Have you figured it out now?
Great. Please stay out of the roulettes if your entire reason for doing them is efficiency. It'll probably improve the general experience for everyone.

Ah no wonder i tend to easily get some leveling roulette in progress, people just leave if it isn't EW dungeons lol
