5 hours waiting time for crystal tower raid

I am new to the game and went through most of the main story quest in 2.0. Now I am literally stuck in the rabbit hole, since in order to proceed on the main scenario quest "A time of every purpose", I need to make some progress in the crystal tower. However, for the last few weeks or so I have never managed to enter into a group through duty finder. My longest waiting time is literally 5 hours. I don't know if it is typical for old content, but I am pretty much giving up at this point.

Ultima is a server on the Japanese Data Centre, so make sure to check Japanese in the Duty Finder Language settings.
