Adding Beastiary log
I believe adding a beastiary log would bring a great benefit to everyone if it includes the following at the very least:- Sorted by area
- Monster names in level order (pictures/sketch of monster as well)
- Location
- A segment of lore/description for fluff
The main reason is when we craft for example leatherworker, we need skins but sometimes forget what or where the monster that drops said skin is located.

100% would want this tbh. tired of opening google to find a specific mob.
-
I wouldn't mind a pokedex thing. Don't really care for location info but lore entries would be neat even if its just generic monster into. Maybe have an entry stating what game they lifted the model from, I've been surprised to see XI mobs reused in odd places, and the plethora of XIII they pepper in.

It would be nice. While we're at it, may as well make it old school RPG with C B A S rank knowledge. Beat it once, get C rank knowledge. Beat it 50 times, get B rank knowledge. Beat it 200 times, A rank knowledge. Beat it 500 times, get S rank knowledge. Something like that but not too high of a number and this number would change depending on the type. Obviously bosses would require much lower amounts like 20 times for S rank knowledge or something. Then what do you do with all this knowledge? You turn in your bestiary report to a quest NPC (story) and get rewards like Titles, Mounts and Minions for instance. I would absolutely go out of my way to get S rank knowledge for as many as I'm mentally capable of doing lol

Yes that would be nice.
Especially if it contained items dropped by said mob.
So that I can see which mob drops the material I need for crafting and where to find it without going to external sites all the time

I just realized that a Bestiary would make perfect sense if you get it from Sharlayan or someone from Sharlayan. They want all the information they can get from everything and it would fit within the lore very well.

("Rise from the Ashes" wiggles fingers around) Now this is would be cool addition to future content going forward.

Definitely, actually surprised there isn't a bestiary of sort yet, what with how much the WoL is depicted as loving to discover new places and telling tales about his travels, and the fact our Scions companions are pretty obsessed with knowledge
