Friends Don't Let Friends PL

Was so excited this week for my two friends to log back on for the appreciation week.

Log on and find out they have been PL with there old R50 friends and are past my level now and don't seem to care ;_;

This upset me and my other friend a lot who were looking forward to playing together :mad:

How should i tell them with out starting an argument? How would you guys feel/deal this:(?

Tell them to level a new job?

Tell strangers on the Internet.

Get yourself PL'd?

My friends always ask ME to PL.

If they are your friend, why wouldn't you help them? (Or they help you)
I PL my friends: The grind to 50 is just that, a grind to 50.
Suffering it doesn't make you a better player, reading the tool tips on your abilities does.
Also, being a helpful friend and showing your friends a good time is rewarding I find.

Just ask them to level you up, and help you experience some of the actual content that isn't a mindless grind.

Agreed Grinding is not a fun way to play this game....doing end content with your friends is much better...also PL does not make them bad players all you need to do is read the tool tips and you get how to play that class...

I understand completely how you feel OP. You are one of the many unheard victims of PLing. It didn't just rob your friends of extra time to play and enjoy the game but also the opportunity for you to level along side with them. To form an appreciation for your Jobs and become stronger with each other's help. Sadly what is done is done. The best way to handle the situation is to be honest with them. Invite them into a party and have a conversation about how you and your other companion were really looking forward to Leveling up together. If you express how much you want to spend time with them so you can go through the 1-50 journey together it is possible you can convince them to take the correct path on another Job.

Don't accuse them of doing something wrong, just point out how much it upset you that you cannot cap with them. If they are your friends they should respond with empathy once they realize how important the Grind was to you. Then you can look forward to the next set of Job's you all take up.

and you posted this on this forum so they can see it.... not sure if that was good idea lol.

If they are back just for the 10 days I'm sure they want to do the end game contents ASAP to try out the 10 days fully so I don't see nothing wrong them getting PL'ed all the way. Now if they are returning players to stay in the game forever then maybe you can ask them to level another job with you so you guys level together.

But personally leveling in this game is a joke, I'd rather get my level up to 50 and enjoy contents available for that level imo but that's just me, might be different for you.
