Steps:
1. I add the treated crystal sand to the anima glass
2. I click allocate and then the points don't add to the anima glass but then it says I have zero points left.
Not sure what to do. Is my weapon bugged? Also not sure why it shows negative points on my weapon.

The same thing happened to me. I’m guessing 6.01 broke this quest. I submitted a ticket to them. Hopefully they fix soon.
Yep. Same here on Louisoix.
6.01 is probably the problem indeed since I was allocating stats between 6.0 launch and the latest patch and it worked fine.
I also have the same issue with weird stat allocation, when some of the values went down to -2.
I think the problem in my case (doing the PLD relic) is that the total stat allocation on the sword is 129/128, which should not be possible. As a result, the stat allocation on the shield can never be completed, since the game won't let me make a 181th crystal sand. So the allocation just fails.
FYI, how do you submit a ticket?
Might be fixed faster if we file multiple tickets for the same issue.
