DoH class switching without closing the Crafting Log

Hello everyone,
I can't believe we need to go through the pointless process every time we want to craft something that requires different materials crafted by different DoH classes. This wastes a lot of time. The thing is: Whenever you complete a craft, you can't switch to other DoH class until you close the Crafting Log. For an example if I want to craft Titanium Fork. So instead of doing this:

• Craft "Dark Chestnut Lumber"
• Change class to ALC
• Craft "Hallowed Water"
• Change class to CRP
• Craft "Hallowed Chestnut Lumber"
• Change class to BSM
• Craft "Titanium Nugget"
• Craft "Titanium Ingot"
• Change class to LTW
• Craft "Dragon Leather"
• Change class to ALC
• Craft "Wing Glue"
• Change class to CRP
• Craft "Titanium Fork"

We need to go through this:

• Craft "Dark Chestnut Lumber"
• Exit "Crafting Log"
• Change class to ALC
• Open "Crafting Log" and find the next item you need to craft
• Craft "Hallowed Water"
• Exit "Crafting Log"
• Change class to CRP
• Open "Crafting Log" and find the next item you need to craft
• Craft "Hallowed Chestnut Lumber"
• Exit "Crafting Log"
• Change class to BSM
• Open "Crafting Log" and find the next item you need to craft
• Craft "Titanium Nugget"
• Craft "Titanium Ingot"
• Exit "Crafting Log"
• Change class to LTW
• Open "Crafting Log" and find the next item you need to craft
• Craft "Dragon Leather"
• Exit "Crafting Log"
• Change class to ALC
• Open "Crafting Log" and find the next item you need to craft
• Craft "Wing Glue"
• Exit "Crafting Log"
• Change class to CRP
• Open "Crafting Log" and find the next item you need to craft
• Craft "Titanium Fork"

I suggest some sort of check box where you can tell your character to stand up after the craft is finished if that's the case why DoH class can't be changed. It's extremely inconvenient if you are crafting singles and you don't even need to HQ, a time waste that makes you loose track of your recipe progress. I decided not to bother completing Crafting Log because it's just too annoying.

Unfortunately, it is what it is and there's no changing it for the foreseeable future. The best thing to do is craft as many intermediate materials as you can so you don't have to make onesies and twosies each time you want to make something. If you're making something for a daily turn-in, I've found it to be worth my while to just buy the intermediate ingredients when possible. Sometimes it's unavoidable and can certainly be frustrating.

I would be glad if developers would give crafting another look and see the issue with this...

This seems tied to how you can't join a party if you are engaging your retainers through the summoning bell. Seems like an underlying code decision made a long time ago by SE - a restriction on what you can do when interacting with NPCs. It is like crafting has you interacting with a crafting table which might as well be an NPC.

It would be a great QoL change though.

Why bother adding this when you can just reduce crafters and gathers down to one class? No more 8 different classes that get the exact same abilities. You have artisan and you have collector. There, done. switching fifty times to make one item is a thing of the past.
