Ideas for Grand Company Rank Rewards Beyond Captain

So, I was looking at the Grand Company rewards tab this expansion, and was surprised there was no Reaper or Sage weapon implemented. So, I thought since it's going to be a while until they do. I thought I could say maybe an idea they could do. For every rank, there can be specific 'role' loot. So, in this circumstance the following rank after Captain, there would be new weapons of course. But, added they allow gear sets similar to or superior to the Allied Seals rewards from the Realm Reborn GC traders. And, then add obtainable mounts and minions to the player's reach of desire.

I think expanding Grand Company content would be fantastic. I love grinding and watching my squadron grow, so I'm all for this. I would even be content with new weapons/ armor for ranks above captain being a reskin, or the same exact weapon with better stats, and being called "v2" or "Augmented."

This expansion, they've added 3.0 and 4.0 crates that drop Minions and/or Mounts. These are available for 20,000 GC Seals to those with the rank of Captain.

The last "content" that was added (including both Lieutenant and Captain ranks) was in the Heavensward expansion, when they added Squadrons.

I don't see SE doing much of anything with General Companies outside of new PvP areas in the future.

It seems to have been that way for a few years. I always hoped it would expand past what we've had for a minute now. Maybe we will have a surprise 6.57 patch and they'll unleash the floodgates. But I agree, SE has bigger fish to fry.
