Electric Current should use 10 stacks of Angler's Art instead

Currently working through my backlog of fishing leves. Under the new spearfishing system, the Electric Current seems like it could be a great option - except I've never once managed to catch 10 fish at a single node yet.

In the meantime, I've built up 10 stacks of Angler's Art, which doesn't seem to have any usage during Spear fishing.

It would make a lot more sense if Electric Current was available with 10 stacks of Angler's Art, and hitting 10 catches of fish in a single node made it available at no cost.

(If there is some use of Angler's Art that someone else knows of for spear fishing, please let me know, because I sure as heck couldn't figure it out.)

Use Baited Breath to extend the time. Makes getting 10 a lot easier.

I have but, man its rare and when i do, thats the usually the last one. I first thought it needed 10 stacks of anglers art.

You can only get *at most* 9 full gigs in a single spearfishing attempt. So in order to easily get to 10, you'll need to catch more than one fish at a time.

Electric Current doesn't really have any hugely useful uses at the moment though, either. So if anyone's found one - do share!

I’ve been able to use electric current a couple times but at most I believe I only got two fish both times. At the moment I’m not finding it abundantly useful.

Wait, even with baited breath? I could've sworn I get more than 9 plenty of times, but admittedly I can't say for sure I never caught more than one at a time those times...You're freaking me out man, are you saying it automatically ends no matter where the bar is after the 9th gig?

Sorry, I should've specified. It's 9 gigs w/o baited breath. If you just spam gig, the most you can ever get is 9 gigs.

Agreed - Electric Current has very limited utility. Even if you're able to get a catch count of 10, there's hardly any opportunity to wait for a "good time" to use this skill.

Also, what's the point of Baited Breath? Yeah, it extends the time at the node, but...so what? It's not like that has a big advantage -- just go to another node when time expires; they're not that far apart. If I could permanently ban a fish type with Veteran Trade, then using Baited Breath could be advantageous. But I don't think Veteran Trade works that way (maybe I'm wrong).

Veteran Trade works like a longer-lasting Surface Slap.

If you Spear a fish and then use Veteran Trade - that fish will not appear for the rest of the lifetime of the node.
