World Visit

I was invited to a Christmas party over a month ago. I tried logging directly onto the correct server, but it wouldn't let me choose that option.

I was 29 in queue when I started, now I'm 5, 208 minutes in. I can't leave Limsa.

How does this queue even prioritize? I logged in 6 hours before that party and I don't think I'm gonna make it O.o

Queue up. Pick a god and pray. In the event you do get through, accept you are not going home anytime soon. That's how it works.

I don't know if there is hard confirmation anywhere, but we're pretty sure that the system prioritizes people waiting in the queue to be able to log on in the first place over ones who are already in the game and are simply trying to swap worlds.

So world visit, including going home, is more or less unusable during prime time (it works alright in the late nights and the morning) because there will always be so many more people trying to get on to play at all that an opening just doesn't materialize during that time period ...

You would have had to swap in the morning when no one was on for that to work out.

WT doesn't work in Prime Time been that way now for awhile.

They really need to just disable World Travel while the congestion crisis is going on, it's a roach motel for innocent players who don't know better.
