Paladin Stances
i was messing around on paladin the other night and had an idea. outmaneuver is pretty weak. aegis boon is nice but seems to lack substance, for lack of better words and i think they would both make great 'stances'.
outmaneuver: raises block rate and grants mp with successful block
aegis boon: lowers block rate and grants hp with successful block
this would make outmaneuver much more usable and aegis boon a potentially very powerful ability with more functionality (especially when coupled with divine veil).

I see where your going with this, I think I've seen some similar ideas mentioned before as well. It's not bad in concept though I think it might be a little OP in the end because people would cycle Outmaneuver > Aegis Boon / Divine Veil > Outmaneuver constantly to super tank everything. Not that I wouldn't welcome such a change mind you, it's just an observation.
Of course SE could add more factors that might limit that possibility. Such as longer recast timers than Divine Veil or SE could add additional benefits such as "Enmity Bonus to the amount of HP healed blocking while in Aegis Boon Stance" to merit one stance full time over the other.

I dunno. While I think it's a good suggestion, I like how Aegis Boon operates now.
It basically nullifies a melee attack and returns HP. That's great. It's even more fantastic when it completely negates a TP attack, which you wouldn't really be able to do if it was a type of stance.
I prefer being able to completely nullify a TP move with 100% chance over having a slightly better block rate for a minor HP return upon a block.

You could adapt the FFXI dancer's stance into it a little as well. So that the stance gets progressively worse as time goes by, so we just don't sit on a very good stance for long.
