So how is Reaper in Potd ?

Didn't tried it but:

Reaper healing is limited to lv84, which means you can't benefit from the big regen in potd or HoH.
Shroud is a lv80 ability which means a good chunk of your DPS is locked and you're bound to 1 2 3 and Avatar gauge in potd and only adds Gibbet action.

I doubt it will shine more than GNB and MCH but I don't have the practice to it.

You underestimate the clutch that is Bloodbath and Second Wind. I've had players say going up to floors 180-190 was easy on Reaper.

But bloodbath and second wind are available to all melee?
Surely you may have a bigger DPS because square doesn't care about lower level content, but healer doesn't have the access to its remaining kit, no Shroud, no healing through the shield.
I'm not going to compare the DPS between all job at lv60, but DPS doesn't make everything.

Biggest gripe with reaper in potd is that your gameplay is one of the most bare bones, it's supremely boring.

I'm hoping we get a new deep dungeon this xpac for this reason, most jobs feel weird being so synced down to level 60, or heck even level 70 in some cases

Allot of the jobs could use a reshuffling on their abilities when it comes to what they keep and lose when downleveled.
Some Jobs are brokenly bad and unenjoyable when downsynced.
