The Lack of Fish in CUL Recipes Kind of Sucks?

Title really, I maxed CUL and FSH over the past day or two. I realised very quickly that almost no recipes call for any fish in the new zones, but lots and lots of meat and the like that you can just buy from bicolour vendors.

Would it really be that hard to have any fish from a certain zone fulfill the requirement for a recipe, and thus add more recipes that use fish? Say you need an ocean fish from Thav, that can then be any ocean fish for the sake of the recipe. Because I think I've desynthed or thrown away practically every single fish so far that hasn't been used for collectables.

Even if not, it's such a huge shame to see them add so many unique fish and then give them no use whatsoever outside of a stamp on your fishing log. :confused:

Don’t worry I’m sure there will be some Snail Oil needed for top crafts soon.

Yoshi said he didn't want fishing to be important economically wise.

There are always 1 or 2 fish for recipes per tier and a handful for GC turnins at every level.

But actually he HATES fishing.

I mean we can no longer even get the occasional pigment desynthing fish.

They removed the desynth option from craftable fishes (for 80+ at least)
I think there are like 5-6 that are craftables in EW

Fisher retainer seem utterly useless at this point asside from maybe hunting a rare minion. Contemplating resetting them to something more usefull. It wasnt this bad in previous expansions. There arent even any fish to get at lvls 89 and 90. Do you think they will add more once the master books come out Jan 4th? Is there even a point waiting

i am happy about this . due to the amount of fish bots that go unreported. it helps stabilize the market a little. More people need to report the gather bots or people botting overall.

Even if there was that much fish botting (I don't think there is ?), that's just lazy and unfair for normal players.

"Stabilizing the market" is just something that doesn't appli to Fisher. Sure you can make a bit of money right now with everyone doing leves ; but in a month it'll be as dead as ever.

"I really wan't to buy that fish to put in on my wall" is a sentence i never heard and it's the only thing most fishes are for ; not that many FSH bother selling those anyway.

Naw, its gonna a lorrpurit and your gonna have to fish them up with carrots.

I wish fishing was just like mining and botany (with nodes you can hit rather than rng fishing) and that fishing retainers could get every useful fish.
