PvP Rewards; 6.1 and beyond.

There's quite a bit of made-for-PvP, yet exclusive content that should be added to the new reward system. For years RMT (including cheaters) have been grossly rewarded for top rankings in PvP. So very many of the top players are breaking the T.O.S. it's almost easy to think every person listed in the top 100 is also. Looking forward to the future, an effective way to combat this is to show that the money is not well spent on rewards that will be available to players who play fairly. Quit exclusively rewarding those bad apples! :cool:

The most active participation are times when new rewards are available, such as Moogle Tomestone events. Adding these older rewards to the new PvP reward system should greatly increase participation with how often some of these items are requested for rerelease. Having an abundance of obtainable rewards from PvP is vitality important for the livelihood of PvP in future patches.

All the previous rewards should be incorporated into normal and ranked modes! It should all come back: accessories, armors, mounts! I think the only minion ranking rewards, Hellpup and Faepup, already came back a while ago. Some of the previous season rewards, if someone is curious:

Have you actually played the game mode? Or are you basing all of this on reddit and twitter posts?

Ye, while boosting was a problem, especially in NA, you could have easily gotten t100 in your first season with a little effort, I know plenty of people like that.

So instead of whining, just give it a try (might be kinda late now tho)

Sadly, it's in my own experience I saw a lot of players breaking T.O.S. (a majority.) That is the past. In regards to the future of PvP rewards, what do you think about having old PvP rewards available again; to fill out the new "battle pass" with desirable items? Seems like a good idea to me when I'm thinking about the future of PvP.

Honestly.. let's say there is/were no cheat, bot etc...
What if there were 200 nice people, all of them trying their best for the rewards.. half of them, regardless of their efforts, would have been left without...

Dunno.. personally i dislike that genre of game system.

Exclusive items nevertheless should remains exclusive.
It is just most of people got these exclusives do not really deserves it.
You can consider crystal conflict is a wipe for fresh new start.
They no longer need exclusive items to attract players and potentially get rid of cheaters and RMT (well, to a certain degree, there are still losers)

I'm always opposed to limited availability exclusive items so I hope they fold the old feast items into the new PVP system, OP. I think the best example of exclusivity I would opt in favor of would be the ring you get from winning the jumbo cactpot. Odds are extremely low you'll ever get it, thus it's a relatively low number of people who will get it - thus it has exclusivity to it. But they're not going to take it away and swap it out every lotto draw just to make the people who did get it feel special. It's fine to have things be rare or challenging to obtain, but imo making it be literally impossible to get again after an arbitrary point of time is always going to be a net loss for the game and community.

That's a good point. These items are slowly disappearing from the game. That feels a bit bad as a player of the game, I wonder how it is for the artists and developers of these items who spent time making them! I've always thought the rerelease of past event items into the cash shop has been a great benefit of the cash shop. An option to save these items as they disappear from the game would be seeing them in the cash shop. but I believe the better option is keeping them in the PvP-sphere plus it gives more reasons for people to play the new mode.

Same, a great potential spot would be as rewards for tough achievements. Maybe something less generic than the "win 100 matches" ones for the other mounts, but since the mode isn't out it's a touch hard to come up with examples they could use. But they could design them to be things that you'd have to genuinely get good at the game mode and PVP as a whole to earn without having to resort to making them time limited.
