Now that there will be no more Races, What should Square focus on now?

In my opinion, it should be improvements on character customization.

(I know there’s potentially female Hrothgar next but until I see it I won’t believe it)

I still think Hyur's faces need a rework, like they should be more defined and more detailed.

Yes, character creation options need to be expanded. The resulting Fanta sales will more than pay for the costs. I'd also love to see an HD texture pack or something. Relatively easy to implement, and can be made optional easily as well (If other games that have done this are any indication).

I mean technically we are waiting for female Hrothgar for the next expansion with further updates to Vieraand Hrothgar on the way.

After that they may expand on the charater creation a little bit, maybe unlocking features from specific faces.

Big agree on character customization.

I would also be happy with a rework of the housing system so houses aren't super limited, or new housing areas in general... There are so many places I would love to just slap a house down, but can't because they aren't within the confines of a housing district.

Eorzeans toast to me whenever I take a leak on a tree within 5 square malms, Garleans recoil in horror every time I take a breath a little deeper than usual, the Telophoroi are ending the world just for a chance to get beat up by me, the king of dragons is taking a vacation in my pocket, I blew a hole in the chest of an Ascian and he was happy about it, the will of the star herself is giving me dating advice while I'm on a business trip, and you're telling me I can't get permission to build a shack on some uninhabited beach in Vylbrand?

Next they need to add big bushy beards for every race. I mean, I'd even settle for just one of them. The FFXIV beard game is weak.

They need Fem Roth and to fix all the terrible facial expressions and lack of customization.

I am going to guess that 90% of posts here are going to be based off of aesthetics. Sadly a huge problem with this community is its obsession with more aesthetics and the devs giving into this obsession.

Mean while the games back bone is complete garbage, servers have had issues for years, class homogenization is becoming more rampant, horrible UI, and text base commands still exist for simple UI functions.

We do not need more hair styles, we do not need more cash shop items, we really did not need Viera and Hrothgar, we have needed issues that have existed to be addressed.

That would be nice, I like the idea of faces as a starting template but being able to mix and match eyes/nose/mouth/features from all faces would be ideal.

Along with cleaning up the textures for some of the older races and adding more facial features and options in general.
