On the quest "Skeletons in Her Closet" upon turning it into Minfilia part of the dialogue says
"We must needs alert the three nations to the presence of this elusive enemy and recommend that they heighten their vigil."

Should either say "We must alert..." or "We need to alert..."

There's no mistake here. Lol.

On topic, Rongway's definition is on point. "Must needs" is an antiquated English phrase. Archaic or antiquated English is used liberally throughout this entire game.
