Auto-Kick after 10min AFK please

okay second round, i agree 3min is too short for auto-kick, but come on, 30minutes for auto-kick is tooo long.
So maybe reduce to 10min for auto-kick. I don't understand people who need 30min afk, because when I play the game, I'm never gone for longer than 5min or so, if it takes longer, I logg off by myself.
People who AFK for 30min should get punished even, they take a spot from other gamers who could use the time much better ingame. Many people don't have alot of time to play games, so please, just logg off if you don't play the game.

Twenty-nine minutes and fifty-nine seconds would be sufficient.

If queues were less than an hour I'd be for this, but they're not.

The login queue isn't just because your hone server is full, in fact it may well not be. The queue is because the lobby server is full. That's what feeds everyone on the datacenter into their respective home servers, it's a huge bottleneck.

So kicking everyone out all the time might not always be a good thing, and could sometimes make the queues worse depending on where the majority of players are at the time, whether logged in already, or in the queue.

I can see more people against this idea than for it and I highly doubt SE will change the auto logout timer at this stage, nor do I think it would make enough of a difference to warrant doing so. You're still going to end up waiting in queue, when they all try logging back in causing more 2002 errors because the capacity reach over 17,000 in the login servers.

A shorter afk kick isn't going to solve anything. The issue is the lack of server hardware and too many people trying to play at the same time. Nothing will change unless one of those two factors changes and the former can't be done due to the chip shortage. All a shorter AFK kick will do is encourage people to use bypasses.

Oh this would go over real well.*sarcasm* C'mon be reasonable and use some common sense. I think you're trolling now after reading this statement. I didn't think you would top your first post and request for a 3 minute auto logout, but with this statement you have.

Thing is: people need to, uh, eat, for example. And this task might take a well more time than 10 minutes. I'm usually eating for ~15 minutes myself. Should I be kicked after 15 minutes of healthy break to then stand in a 4 hours queue again? What about people that stay in a Duty Finder queue for more than 10 minutes and do something else during this time keeping their sound loud enough they could hear the pop from other room? You're literally advocating for unhealthy gaming habits where people would need to sit before their monitors nonstop or be punished for daring to have a life outside of the game.

Also here's the spoiler: a shorter afk-timer kick won't even make queues better. People will come back after their breaks and minor tasks and requeue again... as result not changing the amount of players in it at all.

30 minutes is a normal well-balanced amount of time that gives you time to take a break for food and stretching and doing some urgent necessary tasks that don't take much time. Anything longer would be uneccessary, anything shorter starts to put players under pressure "I can't do anything because I'll be kicked".

So your idea to solve the issue of everyone logging in at once is have more people log in at once?

Are you going to create new thread for each minutes between 0 and 30 ?
