Summoner's "Summon Ifrit II" and "Summon Titan II" animation blocks your view

The animation for "Summon Ifrit II" and "Summon Titan II" are so bright that I can no longer see the boss mechanic properly. Both aoe indicators on the floor and Boss' animations are covered by these two abilities' bright shiny effects. Despite being able to change the pet size, its effect remains.

In order to finish the fight smoothly, I have to change the "Battle Effects Settings - Own" to " Show Limited". Personally I am against to do so because no player should be forced to turn off personal effect during fights.

Does this work? I've fought alongside summoners at level 90 and still saw Titan's fat ass blocking the screen every 60 seconds or so, I already have party member effects set to show limited.

Giving us a command to adjust their size like they did for Bahamut would be appreciated, though.

Edit : I did do this and got it to work. Thanks, Square, for having this option in from the start instead of later.

It was in the patch notes

/petsize pet name small

You can use all in place of the name and it will change all 3 gems and both Demi's sizes

I thought the /petglamour would work on the 90 Egi ... but no.. sad :(

Just to highlight it.
You can adjust your pets size with this command.
For a full list of the available petnames and sizes refer to User Macros -> Text Commands.

The same works for /petglamour.

I agree about the Titan and Ifrit attacks, especially Titan. The glow effects from the attack do make it difficult to see ground telegraphs sometimes.

I wish small was the default size. As a non-SMN, the number of times that a standard summon or Bahamut's big ass got in my way and threw me off so far is pretty high lol

the petsize command is client-side only, no? This means that no matter how the other people setup their sizes, you'll always see the default.

Should be like that : for everyone who isn't the summoner it should be small to not block view, for the summoner : it depend of the chosen option.
Otherwise it will certainly lead to friction between summoners and the other players, i mean it's RDM LB3 level of annoyance (for Titan) but it's every minute instead of once in the fight...
