Chocobo Companion Timer ticks down during Cutscene

I am noting during most EW MSQ and side-quests, whenever the cutscene occurs on the field with the Chocobo companion summoned, the summoned timer continues to tick down during cutscene. I am not sure if that's intended by design but this is becoming annoying having to feed Chocobo to extend the timer burned by cutscene viewing.

My suggestion is to have the Chocobo timer automatically stop during cutscene viewing and resume upon returning to the field.
