Suggestion to improve the new Achievements UI window

I like the new Achievements UI in Endwalker, however there are a few things I would like to be improved.

When I have completed an achievement with a reward that I have yet to claim, this should be obvious to me as a player. Right now it isn't. I must regularly check the window and browse all of the categories to look up if I have any unclaimed rewards. This process is extremely tedious. You could implement a special tab that would only show unclaimed rewards, or place UI notifications next to achievement categories that have unclaimed rewards.

It is hard to differentiate between achievements that I have completed and that I have yet to complete. You can feel this in particular when you are scrolling through achievements at a somewhat faster pace and trying to look up what you're missing. This insufficient differentiation makes it really unpleasant to browse achievements frequently, which detracts me from caring about the feature altogether.

I wish I could change it back to dark mode. Why did they force that one single menu into permanent light mode?

This much is handled already. There's are filters for complete/incomplete.

It would be nice to organize what achievements haven't been claimed. Now you have to go through each and every menu which is a huge burden. I preferred going through a couple of menu with the NPC than navigating through this new system. The design feels a bit out of place as well. I feel that brown would have been the better color choice but I use the dark theme so it feels really weird.

You must have misunderstood what I said. The problem is that when you are browsing your achievements, you can't easily differentiate the completed ones from the not completed ones. Are you saying it's alright that they are hard to tell from each other?

If you are interested in incomplete ones, tell it to show you only incomplete ones. It's not hard to tell them apart if they're all incomplete.

Oh, you dodged my question? Are you saying it is alright when you can't easily tell complete achievements from incomplete ones?

There are valid use cases of the achievement UI in which your "workaround" doesn't help, and having a workaround doesn't invalidate a claim that a part of a UI is badly designed.

It's not a workaround; it's a feature they intend you to use. There are certainly other aspects of the Achievement UI that are badly designed; however, you are basing this specific judgment on a refusal to use a useful feature, the validity of which hinges on a use case that demonstrates that the feature you refuse to use does not meet your needs, so present such a use case in which the ability to filter complete or incomplete achievements does not meet your needs.

I see what @Throrface is trying to say. They find it hard to tell the difference which is completed because in the old UI if the achievement was completed then the section would be highlighted, however if it was not completed then the section would be dimmed. With the new UI the only thing that is highlighted or dimmed is the icon. But of course you are right in the fact that they can filter completed from completed by using the category filter.
