I really like the new aetheryte map in cities. Do it for world map too!

Pre-EW, if you have bad memory to remember things on-the-go or tend to click on wrong lines, it is easily to teleport to wrong places in cities. Like, I often teleport to west side of Idyllshire instead of going to the Western gate of Dravanian Hinterland, cuz both of them start with West.


You can open maps to see the destination's names as a remedy, yeah, but if it is a multi-layers map like Ul'dah, it requires more clicky times. Kinda a pain.



With the new aetheryte map, such mistakes is much harder to make such. I know where I will go without having to open maps or blind-guess where I will end at. I really love its clicking on the icon on the map instead if the list of names on the left.


I hope this will be implemented for World Map too. Regional Aetheryte tends to have hard to remember names, and the list are kinda clustered.

This is an important aspect devs have missed! At least quest markers usually provide nearest crystal location but having a dedicated map display pane on the Teleport menu would be a killer feature.

Pro tip when you open the list you can click on the aetheryte symbol on the map to teleport to your destination aswell.
