PC Freezing with PS4 Controller Issue

Hello, not sure if anyone else has had this issue when playing with a ps4 controller on PC but, the game will fail to load with controller connected or freeze mid game if connected.

I have narrowed the issue down to the usb cable prior to expansion release I was able to play with an extension cable with no issue. However, with the cable connected the game will freeze. I believe its an issue with device identification through which, it has no issue reading when its pc to usb cable to ps4 controller but, an issue when pc to usb hub/extension to usb cable to ps4 controller.

If there are any solutions please let me know I have a large tv and playing up close to it does put pressure on my eyes.

A quick foot note PS5 controllers do work with usb hubs/extensions. However, no way to remap ps5 touchpad and the share button to mimic ps3 control layout.
