Steps:
1. On a PS4, set the battle effects setting to "Show Limited" for "Own"
2. No effects are observed. This includes DOM (SMN) and DOL (FSH). For the fishing, this is particularly problematic because the exclamation marks from hooking a fish are no longer displayed.
