disheartened + wasted time and money

I have been playing this game for years. It means a lot to me, and my friends. My boyfriend and I took time off work, and it cost us money to set aside time to play endwalker together. When the date got moved, we couldn’t get the same amount of time off. But we made it work. However, I’m now giving up playing for I'm not sure how long. I’ve spent hours and hours waiting in queue only to have the server error out and put me into a new 4500 queue. I know some of the technical issues are hard to fix during a chip shortage, but it seems very unfair not to code the game to save my place in line. The lack of good judgement here has hurt myself and others, and there was time to prep - in fact, you ruined our scheduled time off to prep... and for what? To say I’m disappointed in FFXIV is putting it lightly. Paying back the equivalent of $5 game time does nothing to fix this.

PS: I know I am just one of many. If anyone wants to write negative comments towards my feelings or my post, just know I really don't care and it won't bother me. This is feedback for the people running this game, and nothing more.
