Lobby server crashing NEEDS handled

Look, I'm a reasonable person. I've been playing MMOs for the past 20 years. I've been playing FFXIV since 1.0. I've been here for every expansion, and every single expansion to some degree has never been able to fix the fact your queue system is utterly busted. Somehow, in any other MMO I've played, barring complete technical failure a queue is a queue. You get in at 300, 600, 2800, whatever. You go through the line, you're in.

This is the only MMO I've played where I've watched the queue go from 3000, to 700, error out, up to 4700, down to 1000, error, up to 6000, repeat ad nauseam. This is really inexcusable. No one would be mad if we got shoved in a queue and got to play when we get to the end, even if it's hours of waiting. But that it's been four expansions of this, it's still not fixed, and it's somehow worse than ever is ridiculous.

Figure out how to keep people's place in line already. It's insane people who've been waiting in line for three hours are at the mercy of everyone else hammering the server just shoving them right out of their spot.

The only thing SE can do now is pause people's subs from counting down until it's fixed. They've told us of things they WANT to do i.e. buy more servers, but they haven't said anything about what they're ACTUALLY going to do now.

I've given up trying to get in.

I would cancel my sub if i didnt have 3 weeks remaning on it.

FFXIV is the only game I've played that steals the sub time you have already paid for.

Goodluck getting in guys n' gals. Might try waking up early tomorrow morning, or late at night.

Cancelling does not remove the time you have left. It just wont auto-renew.

Last time I canceled, they took all my time remaining. So are you sure about that?

This PLEASE!!!! im getting so frustrated. i do NOT mind waiting. but it is discouraging that i paid for this and have spent 48 hours trying to get in and see the game and have yet to do so...

Naaw, not this time. Had a look at my subscription after i un-subbed. And it's allowed me to go into a que. Fun times~
