So today I noticed that I can no longer get glamour old weapons over new weapons. Its giving an error about not being able to use a weapon glamour if the ilevel of the weapon is lower than your current weapon.
I didn't see anything about this online. Is this an error? Wouldn't this defeat the purpose of glamour and also make all the Shiney weapons on the market place worthless?
I get the same error when I apply it using a glamour palette as well..is this a temporary measure due to server strain of permanent?

That has always been the case you can't glamour any item onto anything if the Ilvl is higher than the base item you wan't to glamour

In the past this was never an issue, but in this xpac it is saying that I cannot glamour my higher item level weapon to a lower level one.
Keep in mind this is only weapon as well my armor has no issues. This is definitely a new thing -

Update to this, it appears to be just that weapon once I moved to a different weapon I had no issue.
Will have some others test it and if they get the same thing will submit a bug report on it.
