They knew this was coming and did nothing about it.

I haven't played in 6 year and thought I would come back to the game now that I had more time to play. Apparently the game has other ideas, as even though I paid for the preorder of Endwalker and registered for early access, every time I try to log in I'm in a 3,000+ person queue that takes over half an hour to get into the game. Servers are flooded and they haven't even bothered to make new ones to fix this problem. This is a KNOWN problem that has existed for as long as MMO's have existed and they have learned nothing.


This just in!!! "The lobby connection has encountered an error!:" So I sat in queue for zalera for 20 minutes only for the game to kick me, wow, yea I'm starting to agree with other people demanding a refund for this, this is UNACCEPTABLE!

Regarding congestion during Endwalker's launch

im still asking myself what was the purpose of the delay ,as the dev stated and i quote here : Naoki Yoshida says the delay was to ensure adequate quality assurance testing in the final days of development

Just be patient, the team put it out on all their mass media platforms that they were expecting this high congestion and pleaded with us to have faith.

It's kinda laughable they say use the visit another server to try and help with the problem when all of the servers are filled to capacity and they refuse to release any new servers to alleviate this.

They knew this was going to happen and took no steps to fix it lol, thats what has everyone so upset, this is after they delayed the expansion for what was it, 2 more months?

Cant release new servers when you dont have the hardware due to ONGOING PANDEMIC AND SUPPLY CHAIN PROBLEMS.

Dunno, compared to Raunahn (savage) from StB, except the queue times, its quite playable.

Stop blaming covid for every last problem in the world, it was old a year ago and it's definitely old right now.

Anyways, log-in congestion is nothing new, it will never be resolved so long as demand outpaces supply. Settle in and get comfortable. If you don't have the patience to wait, play something else. This isn't a race.
