How do you pass the new thancreed thing?

How can you do the thancreed mission? i dont understand

there isnt a turorial on how to do it or anything...

help pls :(

ok i finally finished it after a friend did it for me...why? why is it so hard? its msq...it should be done to continue the story...just that...
also doing old content with the same job is harder....why? i wanna get my sb and shb mounts and something changed between today and when i read it

I also failed Thancred's mission at first...then I went again and did the tutorial: Actually reading the tooltips. It really helps!

You have an ability to stealth, and you have an ability to deal with the guard dogs...the rest is just watching the NPCs move around and time your own movements.

As for older content being harder, can't say much there, but there has been a stat squish so things definitely feel different.

I don't understand where all this difficulty is coming from. Take a moment and read the tooltips on the abilities, they tell you exactly what you can do and give you clues on how to utilize those abilities. Even the "In From the Cold" quest, I see a number of complaints but I enjoyed the quest.

Please, SE. At least give us the ability to edit the hotbar for those RP duties. It's a nightmare having to sit and click because the ability layout your devs chose come no where close to how I set up my hotbars so I can't use my keybinds to get them done.

It is extremely frustrating and just makes them an even worse experience for those of us who play the game to be our character, not a NPC.

The RP duties are here to stay. I don't like them either but they don't annoy me enough to want to quit. All those escort/follow quests we got stuck with though - those will end up making me quit if SE ever bogs us down with that many in a MSQ stretch again. Those were extremely non-entertaining.

Agreed, I attempted to move them and was annoying when I could not. I do NOT enjoy playing as another class than my own, make it an option not a forced requirement SE!
