As the title reads, I can’t find any info regarding crafting in 6.0?

Those notes are very vague. It doesn’t go into detail about what new moves they added for crafting or gathering.

I think they deliberately left it out for us to explore. If I remember correctly, Stormblood's prelim patch note also did not contain any details about Prudent Touch, Patient Touch, Focused Syn or Focused Touch either. So we just have to level up and have fun exploring the new skills ourselves.

The biggest change is Inner Quiet. It is now a "Trait" instead of a skill. Whenever we increase quality, IQ stack will automatically increase. And our max IQ is now 10 instead of 11.

Other traits: At lvl 82, Careful Syn becomes stronger. At lvl 86, Groundwork becomes stronger. Note that both traits buffs PROGRESS specifically.

Now, for "skills"...

Advanced Touch is not really a "new skill", as we've had it in ARR, HW and SB. It was removed in ShB, but is being re-introduced again. We can now use a TRIPLE combo of Basic Touch -> Standard Touch -> Advanced Touch, with each action consuming 18 CP.

Heart and Soul is a Specialist Action that allows the execution of Precise Touch, Intensive Synthesis, or Tricks of the Trade regardless of material condition. It is a new use of Crafting Delineation, and will play a major role in Expert Recipes.

Since we had Prudent Touch from Stormblood, now we get Prudent Syn... similarly, it consumes 5 durab only.

Trained Finesse seems like the new bomb digga... Basically, when the maximum IQ10 is reached, we can now push quality at 100% efficiently each time (same as a Basic or Prudent Touch) with no cost to durability. However, the question is , how many CP will it cost?

They're removing Name of the Elements, Brand of the Elements & Patient Touch. No more gambling of doubling IQ stacks. This has an impact on Expert Recipes with Centered condition, which we exploited using Patient Touch a lot in ShB.

Although max IQ stack is reduced to 10, Byregot's Blessing is buffed to 300% at max power to balance this.

Reflect now cost only 6 CP, but only adds 1 additional IQ stack. So we immediately gain IQ2 when we press this button at the beginning.

As expected, Trained Eye cannot be used with Expert Recipes. But we can probably still overpower the lvl 80 ones when we reach lvl 90. So Resplendent Expert Recipes should still become much easier.

Meanwhile, any kind of lvl 90 Expert Recipes would be quite interesting to deal with... Obviously, Patient Touch will no longer be available, so the increase of IQ stacks will become more precious. This prioritizes Precise Touch over Tricks of the Trade. But whether Reflect is prioritized over Muscle Memory is a big question mark... Reflect is rather "nerfed" since it gives IQ2 instead of IQ3... and it depends on the impact of Prudent Syn (will it make up the deficit in progress that comes with Reflect?), as well as whether the new passive traits on progress would compensate this.

Something has changed with Resplendent if they felt the need to rename already crafted components "obsolete".

I'm wondering if they bumped up recipe difficulty so crafters can't just overpower them at 90. The Resplendent tools were a rather late edition in the expansion requiring a fair amount of effort and letting crafters zip through the process by virtue of waiting a couple of months would have devalued the original effort to get the tools much too quickly.

Resplendent tools were essentially useless for anything other than glamour the day they were released.

Why SE thinks they need to keep their "prestige" 10 levels after the fact is bewildering. We can single button 4 star lvl 80 stuff but not something for glamour? Seems silly and petty.

Quite possible, although it would need a rebalance every time they released a new crafting set if that was the case, which seems a waste of developer time for a set of tools that have been so far rather unpopular. They also haven't minded that past Blessed Tools became easier with a new expansion. Guess we'll have to wait and see.

Byregot's Blessing was not buffed.

Pre-Endwalker Byregot's Blessing was 100% Efficiency, with +20% Efficiency with each Inner Quiet Stack. 10 stacks of Inner Quiet is still effectively 100%+(20%)(10) = 300%.
I'm thinking the "Efficiency has a max of 300%" might actually be a nerf in the sense that it might not benefit from a Great Strides at max IQ stacks, but of course, we don't really know what exactly the "Efficiency now has a maximum of 300%" actually means until we experiment with the numbers ingame.

Edit 3: It could also mean that because of the change of Inner Quiet description to now say "boost efficiency" instead of "boost control", that Byregot's blessing might not benefit from IQ stacks of higher than 7, since 7 stacks of Inner Quiet is +70% efficiency from Inner Quiet itself, and +140% from Byregot's Blessing additional effect, which totals to +210%, which is an overflow of 10%. But again, we don't know what the "max of 300%" actually means yet, if it's just a selfcap, or if it includes all efficiency buffs to Byregot's Blessing.

I would say Reflect wasn't nerfed, because 1 IQ Stack (using Inner Quiet once without anything else) last time was effectively 0 IQ stacks, it conveyed no bonus. 2 IQ stack minimum was required for the control bonus, and for Byregot's Blessing to get the first +20% increase. In this case, the reduction to Inner Quiet max stack to 10 was more of a visual thing, not mechanical (outside of making it a trait), because now you don't have to press it to start building stacks anymore.

Basically, now 1 stacks = 2 stack last time, 2 stack = 3 stack last time, etc.
In terms of IQ and Reflect, this is effectively a buff (less CP usage).
