Sorry not sure where to post this but,
Wouldnt it be cool if we could have a notepad that pops up when we signed on that we could leave ourselves notes?
such as:
"97//100 tomes needed before tomorrow"
"continue this quest"
"dont forget to trade... etc"
just a suggestion hope its a good one.

I play PC, and I have a notepad up and can switch to it if I need to jot something down to research later. I also just have an actual note pad and pen next to me. I even use my phone which has a notepad, and I can watch YouTube and review xiv content. What I would really like is coordinates for certain mobs and ingredients in game. But that is what my phone is for too, to check the Eorzea Database.

yeah! imagine being able to link locations and items in the notepad aswell! to remember certain NPC locations with items tagged they have. man that would be so handy!

I think it might put too much stress and unnecessary data into the game since there's already so much info on the web anyways. It will be convenient but not essential.

This feels unnecessary since implementation would mean perfecting todo components that have been done better elsewhere. It feels like a companion app feature, but even then you must have a smartphone. If you have a smartphone then you have access to much better and perfected todo apps and software. It is also rare for anyone that has the means to own a system that can play the game and pay a sub and buy expansions that don't also have a smartphone that can run todo apps.
If you have a PC then you can easily do what you suggest as it is.
All in all this kind of feature doesn't need to be in the game. -
12-05-2021, 01:25 PMC000kiemonsterI have a word document for that and back in the day on pa2 playing XI, it was a spiral notebook to track notorious monster (nm) pops… those were the days to forget… imagine camping a mob 16 hours only to have someone else claim, then fight for a couple hours to 20 hours if you don’t have another group train mobs and wipe your group… then it’s luck on loot after haha.
