Would you like to see a job class based off of Azem's crystal?

WARNING! SHADOWBRINGERS SPOILERS FOR ANYBODY WHO HASN'T GOTTEN THAT FAR YET!!!!

Azem's memory crystal has a unique magic that allows us to summon allies to assist in our greatest time of need. Like the shade of Hades during our fight with Elidibus.

So what if Azem's crystal were somehow converted into a job crystal and then strengthened by the aether of our closest allies (other than the Scions), allowing us to temporarily summon them and use their fighting skills in battle, much like how Summoner will function in Endwalker with no clunky slow pet mechanics, but a whole scene of one of our allies appearing before us and wrecking havoc on our enemies with their strongest attack or supporting us/our party members with their best status boosting abilities/spells or protecting us with their greatest shield/healing spell or ability.

Thoughts?

Also, real quick. Sorry if I just let the thread goes talk amongst themselves without me joining for the most part. I never know when to actually properly jump into a online conversation without somehow feeling like I'm alienating/not responding to another person's opinion I read before or after. Though I still enjoy reading the thoughts on the subjects I bring up for people to talk about. So...yeah. Lol!

Honestly love this idea. They can’t properly balance 3 healers, so let’s just smush all current jobs into one. Easy balance!

We already have the power of calling our friends into duties. It's called bribery!

I see it as a straight stat boost, with some thematic skills, & summon ability. Even after Endwalker, i'm still maining Dark Knight, so having to switch to another job would irk me a bit.

The job already exists. It's Duty Finder.

Honestly? No.
I think at this point, we have more than enough Jobs already, if anything, squeenix should start putting more focus and effort into the existing ones, like giving us more customisation options/skilltrees/alternative playstyles.

I have to join the no party.
It would be ridiculous... For once how do you summon the aether of your still living closest allies? Do you sap them leaving them half dead somewhere in the world? :D
How is the class different from the Endwalker summoner? It works completely the same as you described, there are no clunky slow mechanics anymore.

I don't think it was a shade, I think we just straight up summoned emet to help us
iirc someone on the forums made a long post about that

Imo I think it'd be too much of a reference to the past, after Endwalker I hope they move forward with something new entirely.
