DireccX 9/11 Errors - looking for troubleshoothing advice

Heya,
I already posted on another thread, but i dont want to spam into OP's problem :)
Game errors are really getting out of hand and i kind of reached my knowledge about troubleshoothing... at this point problems only occur while playing ffxiv, other games and applications seem to work well. Because i am working at home atm i can confirm that the first 9 hours the pc is running nothing strange happens - but stuff really goes south when i start playing ff

This error doesn't occur that often (like every 45mins) but it crashes the driver in a way the PC needs to be hard rebooted

Started about 2 months ago after using my new gaming rig, i was a bit scared it's a HW failure. So
1) I got a new graphics card!
(RMA my 6700xt, explained them that im getting direcx errors while playing this game and they exchanged the GPU. Send in 6700xt FE, got MSI gaming edition back - so they def. exchanged the graphics card)
Furmark, other games show no problems
2) Buy another pair of ram so i could exchange and try new ram
MemTest86 was running for around 2 nights, no errors
3) Reinstall Windows 2 times (Refresh, keep personal Data)
4) Try using several amd drivers (reset drivers with DDU each time)
5) Disabling CPU / RAM overclock (no XMP)
6) BIOS Update
7) Lower GPU clock with afterburner
8) Try several ingame settings like cap FPS to 30,60, change res, change window / fullscreen, disable other monitors
9) Use of GXVK vulkan API on windows
10) Clean linux manjaro install using lutris to start ffxiv, crashes display driver and freezes system
11) Sevaral changes which people reported to help like: Disable freesynch, disable audio enhancement, overlays of steam, discord, disable windows gamemode
12) Unplug periphals like sound interface, usb sticks, use non rgb mouse and so on
13) Tried several disks, nvme, ssd, hdd - no diff
I guess i have put about 40h of searching for the error and i would really appreciate to hear about any ideas on how to isolate the error further. Anything i could have missed?

Vulkan fixed the problem for me but it makes the game a bit weird so I don't want to use it.

I've been trying to find the solution since April, so as bad as it sounds, you (and me and everybody else) are screwed. Devs aren't willing to acknowledge this is an issue, they keep providing the same regurgitated answers which never help and I have a feeling they stopped responding to DirectX errors altogether.

Would be nice if they at least said "we're aware of the issue but we currently have no fix" but the silence is deafening. I'm nearing a point where I'll simply cancel my sub until it's fixed because I spent so much money already trying to fix this thinking it was an issue on my side that I just can't invest more.

Hey. It is propably a CPU- or a motherboard issue. I had the same issues. And later i found out that the L3 cache on the CPU produced errors under some circumstances. I RAM'd my computer, got a new one and the errors are gone.

Thansk for the input, will be ordering a 5800x this evening and test it with a new windows reset - if it doesn't help ill throw in a 1050 ti and test again. Will take some days x)

I feel you - it would be amazing if there was official help to track it down, but sadly there is not. I really hope the CPU swap will be the last investment, because there is not much else to replace at this point :/

Quick update: the Gtx 1050 TI solves the problem for the moment, there are no crashes when using the nvidia card

Edit: It mostly solves it, still crashes rarely (this was the first time)
