DF or Mentor Roulette ignores the language settings

When i que mentor roulette i got into a grp as a late join.
But i have only selected J/D/E.
I purposely de-selected french since i cant speak it nor read it.
But when i joined that grp the majority was french without knowing any of my selected languages.
Thats beyond my understanding; how am i supposed to help some1 if we cant communicate at all?
Mentor roulette doesnt state that it will ignore ur settings.

They could have selected their language settings falsely to pop the que faster but since they are so many mono language speakers i doubt thats the case.
The party seems to not memorize the initial settings for it when it was created and just sets it open for all?
