Question about the class booster.

I plan to use the booster to make some alt now that they are on sale. Anyone know if you have to unlock the expack class before you can use the booster? For example, if I create a fresh character, can I use the DNC booster to make it my first lvl 70 class?

It unlocks the job, but Dancer doesn't have a Tales of Adventure (yet).

Each individual job boost requires that you've registered the expansion that the job belongs to.

You know, not gonna lie, $12.50 ain't a bad price for a booster. Not my cup of tea, but I could see how someone new to the game would benefit greatly if they knew what job they really wanted.

They said it was for an alt character, so I'm assuming they have the content already available to them and just want to bump a new character up right from the start.

Boosting dancer would be a waste anyway. Boost another job to 70 and you get to unlock dancer via the standard level 60 quest as well.
