Suggestion: Relocation specific wards (low number) for new housing districts

With the advent of Empyreum releasing in 6.1, I wonder about the possibility of doing a very limited number of wards/sub-divisions (2-4?), that would be specific for relocation.


Don't get me wrong, I LOVE the new housing changes; however, as someone who had to stay up for a patch to drop to get my house, it's soul crushing at the thought of having to do it again or face a lottery for a large.

I've wanted to move to Ishgard since 3.0 and this will basically make my chances very slim, however, this actually seems to be the best way to make it as fair as possible. (Personal feelings aside.)

Same, however, headcanons can be kept despite how it turns out in the actual district. The housing system is so messed up, getting it to be even a little bit more balanced seems worth it.

Yeah but it's never been really fair when it came to the first time buyers and the relocators. Players need to be absolutely sure and committed to their first pick of plot they buy from the beginning. I think these changes are good. However it will be another race when 6.1 releases since not all plots will be lotto. I'm glad I have my quaint cottage in my desired location.
