Please replace commend with

Okay, so honestly I think when getting up and all that commends are a poor method

Hell i literally got four commends in a trail that i was eating, watching black clover and petting my cat at the same time and i know i had to been doing bad with all that.

My suggestion is when you exit a dungeon it gives you a grade on how well you performed and then at the bottom could give basic advice if you got below a passing score.

Using this system it could tell us our dps (without doing painful read overs in logs and addons) and this would be a better way to help ppl improve.

With this system ppl can look over the grade score and use it to ask help on how to get higher easily.

That doesnt make it eithet and its f mm when you exit so if you want to ignore it and stay at the same level u can..

But its way better than hiw commends work where you can play like trash and still get it lol

That's a pretty good way to cause a lot of anxiety issues across the board for players to ironically replace a very relaxed system

Do pro as dps, get no comm
Do bad as tank, get comms
We live in a society

You know your party needs to do more damage if you die to an enrage cast, so the game already informs you if it's insufficient.

You can test your DPS for content with an enrage using Stone, Sky, Sea in Heavensward, The Circles of Answering in Stormblood and The Lawns in Shadowbringers, where you have to defeat a striking dummy within the time limit.

In any other content, it's a chill game and Yoshi-P just wants you to have fun and not worry about being perfect, unless you enjoy doing that.

Or we can just leave the system the way it is. That's the better course of action.

My intent is a personal grading system to improve skill as a player gets higher up so they make jobs with extreme complication.. Hand holding all the time is meha at best.
It is private so no harm and it gives u a way to get better...

I can see how the commend system can be improved, for example by making the party list linger for a bit, so you can commend the people who dropped out immediately, before you had a chance to, and by adding incentives to commending people.

Having a punishment system in place for "bad performance" is exactly what we don't need.

That's Mythic+, a system that already exists in WOW. Give it a try.

Agreed with the letting list linger a bit and adding incentives. There is currently one challenge log entry that gives a little gold + XP if you commend 5 people, maybe there could be a part 2 of that? Would be a nice burst of XP especially for someone doing roulettes for leveling a job.
