PS4 Fishing Trophy.

I googled this and there's a ton of conflicting information on it.

For the past month I been trying to get the "Fish 1000 times" trophy but nothing?

I have fisher at 80, I go on the boat all the time (ocean side fishing or whatever its called" and still nothing?

I've heard that fishing in HW, SB and SHB areas will not count?

I been told that ocean side fishing (the boat) is the best way to get this trophy? Yet ive done it so many times and i still don't have it?

I checked my in game trophies for fishing and none of the "1000" fishing ones have any points towards them...

Have I been wasting my time using the boat to fish for this trophy? :(

If the trophy existed before HW then it may only count ARR areas. It's not uncommon for games with trophies like that to only count progress done in content available at the time the trophy was added.

I did a quick google and while I can’t confirm anything, some online chatter says it only counts fish caught in Thanalan, Black Shroud and La Nosca. It may or may not count Mor Dhona or Coerthas (chatter suggests it does not)
