Keeping my own data on anemos lockboxes for my sanity

I GOT IT! This has been the worst experience I've ever had with an RNG system. There should either be scaling RNG or the mount should be tradable. There's also the option of making the mount available in later Eureka zones so the player can progress without missing out. Finally why on earth wasn't it included in the moogle event again this time? Instead we got easy to aquire mounts with little to no RNG involved.

I'm having a real bad time trying to get the mount out of anemos lockboxes. I started on this task last Tuesday and I'm writing this on Sunday morning. I've been grinding it out every chance I get since Tuesday. I've even cut down my other activites in the game to a bare minimum to make more time for this. The only things I do now besides farming Anemos is my mini cactpot and 2 sets of daily beast tribe quests, then it's back to the grind.

I don't have an exact number on the amount of lockboxes I've opened so far but it is over 2k easily. But in the interest of fairness since I haven't been keeping exact numbers up until this point I will say I've opened 1.5k.

SO: From 19/10/21 to 23/10/21 I opened 1,500 lockboxes.

Notable items so far:

4 Red Mage Barding
8 minions (3 Lord of Anemos) (3 Wind-up Mithra) (2 Wind-up Fafnir)
0 Tyrannosaurus Horn

From here on I will update the post each time I open a batch of lockboxes. I will include the number of boxes, time and date and notable items.

The goal is to have something else to do besides seeking this one elusive item. If I get it, awesome, but if I don't at least I'm documenting how brutally unfair this system can be if you get unlucky.

People may have no interest in this which is fine. I won't bump the thread or anything, I will just update the original post.

Update 1: I was going to farm all day as things were going swimmingly but now I'm locked out of the instance I was in after leaving to reset. This happens a lot. So time to open a batch of 361 lockboxes.

24/10/21 at 16:00 I opened 361 lockboxes.

1 minion (Wind-up Fafnir)
1 Red Mage Barding
1 TYRANNORSAUR HORN IM DONE BABY IM FREEEEE!
