This is a suggestion to add a bestiary to FFXIV.
The bestiary would log all mobs you have defeated at least once in each area, similar to how the fishing log works. However it would also show what each mob drops and what percentage chance you have of obtaining the drop, similar to how the gathering window functions.
I'm suggesting this because it can become a pain to find certain mob drops you need for crafting.
