Can Scholar's Dissipation get a trait at higher levels to feel less punishing to use?

I would like Scholar's Dissipation to get a trait at higher levels to feel less punishing to use.

Scholar's Level 60 skill is Dissipation - the forcibly dismisses the fairy for 30 seconds.

At lv 60, there wasn't a lot of skills that require the faerie for Dissipation at the time, so it would be balancing between Aetherflow healing and Fairy Healing, and that's completely fine. It created two types of healing phases, the normal healing phase and the 'burst healing phase' at the cost of sustained healing with the extra 3 aetherflow. This kind of phase separation felt tactical and nice because scholars can always just use it for Energy Drain if they didn't need significant healing, but Adloquium, Succor, and Aetherflow healing are still powerful at this level.

At lv 70, scholars get more faerie skills, so there's a higher tendency to rely on the faerie over their aetherflow healing, especially because they want the faerie to stay on the battlefield if they want the Aetherpact to continue working. Dissipation as an 'emergency healing phase' felt considerably weaker without any improvements and more drawbacks, but it's still okay if they needed emergency healing at a very short interval. The speed at which Scholars consume the Faerie gauge is very slow, so there's a lot of time to leave Aetherpact on.

By lv 80, they get an additional 2 faerie skills and a new healing mode, so there's a heavy reliance on keeping they faerie out for Scholars to heal. In a way, this creates 3 healing phases.

In contrast, Dissipation's beneficial impact seems to be a lot smaller as a result, but the drawbacks to using the skill becomes a lot bigger - now scholars lose Whispering Dawn, Fey Illumination, Aetherpact, Fey Blessing, Summon Seraph, and Consolation for the next 30 seconds, can no longer generate Faerie gauge, and only have aetherflow healing left. Additionally, aetherflow healing skills that have a cooldown like Excogitation, Sacred Soil, and Indomitability can also be used in the normal healing phase and seraph healing phase, potentially leaving them with nothing or little to nothing in their 'emergency healing phase' other than 3 lustrates.

To put it in perspective...

Lv 60:
Normal healing phase

+ Have access to aetherflow healing

Dissipation healing phase (30 seconds)
+Gain 3 aetherflow stacks
+ Increases Healing Magic Potency by 20%

As you can tell from the differences, Dissipation feels incredibly punishing to use in comparison.
If it's possible, I would like Dissipation to get a trait to alleviate some of the disadvantages it has and make it better to use. It's just not as effective as it used to be as an emergency healing tool at higher levels.

Or, they could allow you to use your fairy abilities centered on the SCH during Dissipation as well as allow the accumulate of Fairy Gauge since all that's really happened is that the fairy's aether has returned to the SCH, hence all the abilities have no real reason to be inactive in the 1st place.

I could understand Seraph not being applicable but the rest of the Fairy Abilities and the accumulation of fairy gauge should not be bared simply because the fairy isn't out.

Yeah. I was hoping Dissipation eventually gets a trait that allow us to use Whispering Dawn + Fey Illumination + Fey Blessing down the line, as well as letting us generate Fey Gauge.

It would be nice to get a different skill replacing Aetherpact on the hotbar that can consume extra Fey Gauge during Dissipation too. Just something to differentiate the other phases.

The skill could definitely create a more tactical feel with the Scholar's toolkit if buffed in contrast to Summoner's primal summon phases. That way, Dissipation becomes sort of like Seraph, where you could choose to go into either Seraph or go into Dissipation depending on if you need more aetherflow or if you need shields.

I wish Dissipation somehow involved melding the self with the faerie, and during that period we ourself are our pet, casting pet-only abilities while keeping the regular Dissipation buff. That's probably just me.

It's not original, but they could just make SMN trances mechanics. Have Dissipation be a fairy trance and a Seraph Trance. Each trance changing a few GCDs, bake some DPS in this, link it to Aetherflow... There is so much potential in what SCH currently has, it just feels so disjointed.

Closer to the topic, I think Dissipation should be more "risk vs reward" and rather than just having healing potency up and three aether stacks, it could empower you, make you cast faster, DPS harder too possibly.

As fun as it might look, I don't think I'd want to make it a Healing SMN. Dissipation does need a rework, but I'd prefer they work on the biggest thing first which is the Fairy gauge being unused outside of Fey Union.

Honestly I want them merged, with the condition that it's made into a charge action. Neither ability is really that interesting in isolation and you really don't want to use either on cooldown as they fit very different situations. I think gating Seraph behind Dissipation and making Dissipation a DPS cooldown (have it increase spell potency, so it doesn't affect oGCDs of any kind) that still let you generate gauge would be enough for me. It would also let you make Seraph more powerful. I'd also ideally add a capstone that synergizes directly with Dissipation. Like a DPS spell that is ideally used in that window, or maybe an assize-like barrier/damage AoE that can only be used during it that has a fairy animation tied to it that which is otherwise used by Consolation, thereby tying it all together neatly.

As for Fey Blessing? Kinda want it to cost a significant amount of Fey Gauge, not gonna lie. Like, 20 or 30, so it can use the same button space. It doesn't need a long cooldown if it's not something you can spam freely to begin with.

Or we could just remove it.

Only if Seraph goes with it. I don't really want either of those buttons. The only way they seem interesting to me is if they were paired together, but if I had to keep one, I'd rather have Dissipation as it is just cause it's a DPS boost again thanks to Half-Ast Casting.

It's only really an issue because energy drain exists and pressures you to use dissipation frequently. If they simply remove energy drain all this problem would be solved and you can simply save it for when all your fairy skills are on cd. Although I think it would be nice if it reset excog and indom cds, that might be a little too strong?

I think its more annoying that seraph locks you out of fey blessing and fey union. That kind of doesnt make sense when your other fairy skills like whispering dawn still work.
