Did Cleric Stance really had to go ?

I'm speaking about the flat 5% buff from Stb.

The reason I'm asking is because it got removed for Repose in Shb instead which has a really niche usage while CS could have been an anytime utility.

And since we're still lacking some other DoTs or DPS spell (because casual stress and all...), I thought it would be a small nice little addition on a 60s CD.

Just asking and throwing some ideas.

Ok. Now to be serious. I don't really know? it's like 5% is still something to optimize but maybe the the devs interpreted as something unnessacary? With the design they're going for it seems they interpreted it thusly. "Why have a button to do this when you can just add that 5% into the potency of their spells."

TBH I'm surprised with it being added to AST via Astrodyne that they aren't considering adding it to the other healers. I did briefly entertain the thought of it being attached to PoM for WHM and everyone's favorite capstone ability Dissapation for SCH.

But then that came to an issue. From a skilled players perspective that's good. WHM gets rewarded for lining PoM with burst windows that much further and SCH gets the extra benefit to eating their faerie in those "I don't need to heal but I could use the extra energy drains." moments. But now that we have a better idea of what the mentality is with designing healers, I think the devs would view it not as "a reward for high skilled play" and instead "A trap that causes a screw up in newer players."

I don't really see the charm in Stormblood's Cleric Stance. The amount of damage you actually gained from it was almost non-existent, and it did nothing else. Not to mention there was very little thought that went into using it. I'd rather just have actual attacking actions that had interplay with other actions rather than a press-it-forget-it button eating space on my hotbar for what would ultimately equate to an extra cast of Broil across an entire fight for the majority of content in the game.

Actually, it's not Cleric Stance himself that is super appealing.
But the extra buff to manage.

It could be litteraly anything else.
But since it was the last example we had...
